St Andrew's Parish Church is a congregation of the Church of Scotland within Dundee Presbytery. We are an active Church with a rich history and long associations with the Trades of Dundee.



Weddings & Baptism

At St Andrew’s we are happy to welcome couples who wish to confirm their marriage vows before God and witnesses.
We are a Protestant church and believe in the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Weddings in St Andrew’s Parish Church are religious services of worship, bringing the love of a couple for each other before God.

We want you to feel welcome and relaxed coming along to church for the first time, or coming back after a while away.  If you want to talk about coming to church call 01382 224860. The service takes place in the main church building.

Services are in Church on the 18th October 10.00 am with doors opening at 9.30 am. With numbers being limited, you can book a space (telephone bookings only) by telephone to the Church Officer, Ron Chimiak between 6.30 pm & 8.30 pm.

On the 25th October, 10,30 am, (doors open 10.00.am) the Rev Anita Kerr will be preaching as Sole Nominee at St Andrew’s with a vote from the congregation after the service, with the result announced at a later date to allow postal votes to be sent. (25th October Service fully booked)

The edict to be announced at two public services are below:



For notification at Public Worship on 4th and 11th October 2020, at St. Andrew’s Parish Church.

At a meeting held at 2.30pm on 27th September 2020, the Nominating Committee chose the person who they wish to propose to the linked congregations of Meadowside St. Paul’s Church linked with Dundee St. Andrew’s Parish Church to be our new minister. The name of the person proposed is Reverend Anita Dawn Christina Kerr, MA. Arrangements have been made for Reverend Anita Dawn Christina Kerr, MA, to conduct public worship in St. Andrew’s Parish Church on Sunday the 25th October at 10.30am. Immediately after that service, there will be a vote on whether or not Reverend Anita Dawn Christina Kerr, MA should be appointed as the new minister of the linked congregation of Meadowside St. Paul’s Church linked with Dundee St. Andrew’s Parish Church. Anyone whose name appears on the Electoral Registers of the congregations of Meadowside St. Paul’s Church linked with Dundee St. Andrew’s Parish Church shall be entitled to vote. No-one else shall be entitled to vote.
