Baptism
To have your baby baptised is to welcome that child into the world and to celebrate this new life. It is also a time of promises when parents promise to bring their children up in the church and in the life of Christian faith which we all follow together. We love baptising babies at St Andrew’s and love to welcome their families to make these serious life-long promises. In order to book a baptism you need to come along to church for a few weeks and get to know us and let us share the serious responsibility of giving your child a Christian start in life.
What does it cost?
A baptism is a celebration of a new life in the Christian family. We don’t have any fee or charge for this but we do suggest you make a donation towards our church, which is a charity, this can be given under the gift aid scheme to enable us to make the most of every penny we are given.
